The Texan Writer

Current Issue

The Texan Writer is currently seeking submissions for its very first issue, which will appear in April 2026.

It will consist of essays, articles, letters to the editor, and other works of nonfiction written by students at Tarleton State University.

About the author

The Texan Writer was launched in the spring of 2026 by four professors at Tarleton State University. By publishing some of the strong writing being produced in English classes at Tarleton, they hope to encourage and reward the university’s student body. With that goal in mind, they are currently seeking submissions for the first issue, which will appear in April 2026.
